A 220 square metre large penthouse apartment located in Berlin Mitte. The aim was to create a silent urban retreat in a hectic everyday life. One of the main tasks was to simplify the very complex structure of the roof top including diagonal beams. A large number of furniture and lighting features have been custom-made for the project.

Exhibition stand that follows a grid system for Chinese manufacturer Everich at Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt. The light structure is easy to dismantle and shelves are constructed without any screws. Ring fluorescent lamps behind fabric screens provide a soft glow that creates a warm feeling.

The music by iconic composer Scott Walker, especially commissioned by choreographer Rafael Bonachela for this performance, sets the rhythm for the dance movements. The set and costumes reinforce the notion of a dysfunctional semi-abstract ballroom. The set composed of chairs, a chandelier and of strong light features, all especially designed for the piece, offers a dramatic backdrop for the performance.
